Family Caregivers Network is a community advocate for safety at home.  Our Safety Program is inclusive to include safety for not only for our families but also our employees.  Because family caregivers are usually alone in a home caring for a loved one it puts them at high risk for injury to themself or their loved one.  Our Safety Program will help families remain safe in their homes.

Our Lifeline Emergency Response Systems range from our basic unit, regular and cordless telephone units.  Our Auto Alert System calls for help when you can't.  The Auto Alert recognizes sudden changes in position that signal a fall and will alert our emergency operators without the need to push a button.    Our emergency response operators are standing by 24 hours day to send help when needed.

Our Lifeline Medication Dispenser provides an audio reminder when it's time to take your medicine.  At the push of a button, it then dispenses the medications at the time they have been programmed for.  Nursing staff will teach you how to pre-fill the dispenser with your medications.  Our emergency response operators will notify a loved one if a dose of medicine is missed.

Our Ergonomic Safety Belts by Waverly Glen are used when transfering loved ones.   With four large handles and an adjustable buckle to employ the proper fit, these transfer gait belts are an ideal solution for a safe tranfer of your loved one.

Our Safety Committee comprises of employees who evaluate the safety of our staff, patients and the families we care for.  Setting policy for safety is the # 1 priority.
